Slipfix is a new development in the field of anti-slip treatment. Existing floors that pose a slipping hazard can be made safe to walk on again after a treatment with Slipfix. Slipfix is fast, clean, and easy to apply.
How does it work?
Slipfix microscopically alters the surface to create traction. This also changes the appearance of the surface, creating a matte film. This matte film is barely noticeable on light-colored floors, but on dark floors, it may be visible.
Where to use?
- Balconies, terraces
- Tiled stairs (including underwater)
- Shower areas
- Commercial kitchens, home/building entrances.
- Wet tiled laundry rooms
- Sports and changing rooms
- Pool decks or areas surrounding the pool
- Pool floor (provided it is tiled)
Suitable for:
- Floor tiles, ceramic / hard-fired tiles, granite (including polished)
- Mosaic tiles
- Natural stone (non-calcareous)
- Enameled steel (bathtubs/shower trays)
Not suitable for:
- Acrylic or acrylic-mixed concrete
- Calcareous materials
Application:
- Slipfix is quick and easy to apply.
- With 1 liter of Slipfix, you can treat approximately 10 m² of floor.
- Treatment time is approximately 10 minutes per 2 m² of floor.
Maintenance:
After Slipfix has been applied, it should be maintained normally with a good floor cleaner as part of your regular cleaning routine. This ensures that Slipfix continues to work optimally. Only in this way can we guarantee a lifespan for Slipfix of 4 to 5 years. Areas of the floor that are under extreme stress should receive a touch-up treatment in the interim.
Environment:
Slipfix is biodegradable, solvent-free, and has a pH value > 5 at 20 °C
