Everything regarding water maintenance starts with the pH of the water.

When the water has a pH that is too high or too low, it is not only detrimental to your skin and various components in your spa, but ALSO to the effectiveness of the chlorine and/or other water treatment products.

Therefore, always start by measuring the pH and correct the pH so that it is between 7.2 and 7.4. Only then should you add other products to the water.
