The "eyelid" of the Highline Step light prevents glare for someone walking up the stairs, while illuminating the step itself. The light is small but efficient.
In a stairwell, it is often sufficient to place a light on every other step. The recommended installation height is approximately 15-20 cm from the step.
The Step light also works for illuminating hallways or entryways, and as a warning light in rooms used at night. By installing the light in the ceiling near a wall surface, you get a soft, smooth light surface.
